Parent Coaching/Caregiver Support

I have extensive training in various therapeutic modalities when working with children and families, including Child Parent Psychotherapy, PEERS Certified Trainer, behaviorism, and attachment-based interventions. If you’re struggling to connect with your child and want to improve your relationship, then you’ve come to the right place!

I start by conducting an initial assessment, including looking at attachment, friction points, and cultural considerations for your family. I offer both ongoing support as well as more structured, educational style sessions designed to meet the specific needs of your family.

At this time, I provide parent coaching through telehealth services only.

Individual Therapy

As a relational therapist with a psychodynamic lens, I’m interested in getting to know the real you. If you have a history of trust being broken or violated, then you know that trust takes time. I am here to walk that path with you and your voice regarding the intensity or content of our sessions is important.

Some people come to therapy already knowing exactly what they want to work on, but for some, we might need help figuring out what keeps us feeling so emotionally heavy. Others come to therapy needing a safe container, a space where they can show up fully as themselves without editing or filtering. Whatever your need is, I’m confident we can work together to effect change in your life!

Therapy can last anywhere from 16 weeks to longer, depending on the need and client. At this time, I provide individual therapy services through telehealth only.

Teen Therapy (13+)

Teenagers come with their own strengths and challenges and navigating going into our current world as young adults can feel daunting to say the least. Teens are often trying to figure out who they are in the context of the world around them and their family structure, and that process can be really, really hard for both them and those around them. If you are parenting a teenager who is interested and consents to therapy, then I would love for us to connect!

Not every teen will engage well with virtual therapy and it’s important to consider that your child may need an in-person provider. Telehealth can be a great option for teens who have busy agendas and need therapy to fit in their schedule and for teens who are open to a talk therapy style.

If you are parenting a teenager who is interested and consents to therapy, then I would love for us to connect. We can discuss any challenges you foresee, considerations regarding confidentiality, and can schedule a video call for me to meet your child before engaging in treatment!
