Couple’s Therapy

Are you struggling with constant conflict with your partner?

Does conflict ever feel unsafe? Does it feel like if you said what you really thought and felt, they would punish or leave you?

Are you finding it hard to navigate how to meet your own needs in the context of a relationship?

Does it feel like the spark that once brought you two together is now the flame that will burn it down?

Are you both looking for a more emotionally connected, honest relationship?

In my experience, people are often trying very hard to stay safe, not realizing that the ways they stay safe often result in self-protection over connection.

Let’s break the cycles that keep your relationship stuck.

  • Intake Session: $200

    Ongoing Session: $175

Since utilizing insurance requires a diagnosis, I am typically unable to use insurance.

I primarily approach couple’s therapy from an Emotionally Focused (EFT) lens. My approach prioritizes the relationship I form with each client to effect meaningful change. I work to explore who each person is in the couple individually and how each member contributes to the dynamic at hand.

Initial sessions consist of a mixture of both individual sessions with each member as well as sessions together.

  • While couples come to therapy for a multitude of reasons, I primarily focus on working with couple’s with the following challenges:

    • difficulty navigating healthy communication

    • frequent and/or explosive conflict

    • neurodivergent & neurotypical counterparts

    • parenting challenges

    • one or more individuals have a mental health diagnosis

    • challenges with navigating grief

  • It’s important you have a couple’s therapist that is trained and experienced navigating your specific challenges.

Therefore, I would not work best if you are coming to seek support for:

    • infidelity-related concerns

    • polyamorous/open relationships

    • need religion to be the focus of your treatment

    • you are not interested in doing the deeper work

I share these in order to respect your time and energy and ensure that you find the therapist that is best for your relationship!

Family Therapy

Working with families is one of the most meaningful parts of the work that I do. With over a decade of experience navigating complex family dynamics, I think family therapy can be one of the most powerful ways to increase connection and understanding.
