fees & policies
I operate payment for services on a general sliding scale. This scale has been adapted from The Green Bottle Method by Alexis J. Cunningfolk.
Fees range from $50 - $150 per session.
Payment is due at the time of service and can be accepted through either a debit card or credit card.
This fee range is applicable to those seeking parent coaching or who would prefer to not use their insurance for treatment.
Do you take insurance?
I currently do take some insurance plans and accept payment through either insurance or private pay for individual therapy only. There are pros and cons of taking insurance, and it’s important you consider both options. I currently am in-network with Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Regence, Premera, and Lifewise.
Not taking insurance means I do not need to provide your protected health information to your insurance company, make a formal diagnosis which stays in your medical record, or have our number of sessions dictated by your insurance provider.
If your insurance carrier provides out-of-network reimbursement, I can provide you with a monthly Super Bill.

I do not require proof of income when it comes to determining your Tier level. I operate on an honesty policy and trust in your ability to accurately determine where you fall on this scale.
In utilizing this policy, I also trust that if your income fluctuates to the point that you are making more than your chosen Tier level, you will communicate this to me and we can make appropriate changes. I also recognize that income alone does not determine our financial status. Similarly, if your financial position drops beneath your current Tier level, I am happy to adjust accordingly!
Some people fall in-between Tier levels. If this feels true for you, we can meet in the middle to come up with a figure that feels good for both of us.
cancellation & no-show policy
24-hour cancellation policy
I require at least 24 hours notice of any cancellations. That being said, I recognize that emergencies, illness, and life happens. I offer a one-time pass for a late cancellation or a no-show. Otherwise, I will charge $75 to the card on file. When I offer a session time and a cancellation occurs last-minute, I am unable to offer that time to another client or utilize it for personal appointments.
Reciprocal cancellation policy
As a therapy client myself, I have always found the lack of reciprocity when it comes to cancellations to be … conflicting. Therefore, I apply the same policy to myself for you!
If I need to cancel a session with less than 24-hours notice, I will provide you with an additional free pass for a late cancellation; this does not apply for my no-show policy.
No-Show policy
A “no-show” means your scheduled session time comes and you do not attend or make any contact with me prior to the session. Engagement in therapy on a consistent basis is fundamental to you getting the healing and care that you deserve. No-shows can be disruptive both to your treatment and to myself financially. I allow one free no-show visit. However, after two no-shows in less than 6 months, I will need to discharge you from my services and can provide referrals for therapists that may be a better fit for your needs. If you have any questions regarding this policy, please don’t hesitate to ask!
